This is already the second time that Jörg Riechers is honoured with the highest distinction in the German Offshore sailing scene. The decicive factor were his outstanding first and second places in the Transatlantic races in 2012. The successful collaboration with us has been continuing now for 5 year. WetterWelt assists in any cases of meteorological issues (pre-routing, routing, race consulting, weather data, forecast models, preparatory weather workshops).

Saturday, 19th January 2013 the largest boatshow of the world 'boot 2013' in Düsseldorf starts for nine days. WetterWelt will be present in hall 11 at booth F40. Take some minutes and visit us we are looking forward to welcoming you.
Or listen to Meeno Schrader on the stage of the YACHT magazine with his daily talks about "Trip planning with the weather" and to another daily talk in the sailing center 'Sailing in heavy weather' together with Uli Münker (sailmakers Faber+Münker).

You find Meeno Schrader at the Yacht stage daily at 4:00 p.m. He demonstrates how to do a route planning according to and with the weather forecasts.
Everybody who is looking for hints and tips for sailing in stormy weather should have look to the 'meet the experts' stage. Meeno Schrader and Uli Münker (Segelmacherei Faber+Münker) will report about pre-arrangements and behavior in heavy weather daily at 2:30 p.m.
