SEAMAN runs as a web app in a current browser on smartphones, tablets and computers. You set it up directly from WetterWelt as a shortcut on your device; no App Store or Play Store is required.
Choose from 120-hour forecasts covering the main marine weather parameters, higher-resolution 48-hour wind forecasts for selected areas and current charts. For points and routes, view the weather development as a table or meteogram.
Program content and forecasts you have already opened are stored locally. Those forecasts remain available offline for about 24 hours; new or updated data require an internet connection.

Marine weather at a glance
Weather conditions, wind direction and speed, gusts, pressure, air temperature, wave height and swell direction are presented clearly.

120 hours and 48 hours
The 120-hour dataset covers the marine weather parameters. Selected areas also have higher-resolution wind forecasts for 48 hours.

Updated regularly
New WetterWelt datasets are normally provided twice a day. The next time you are online, you can update the forecasts stored on your device.

Select areas worldwide
Choose from the available regional forecast areas; a coarse global overview is also provided. Areas you have already opened can be stored locally.

Route planner with track weather
Set your departure time and waypoints. SEAMAN shows distance and weather along the route, with the development available as a table or meteogram.

Loaded data offline
Forecasts and chart details opened previously remain available offline for about 24 hours. New data and new areas are loaded online.
