Since 1999, WetterWelt has developed forecasts, software and consulting services for clients in shipping, media and research. Our meteorology and IT teams work closely together.
We are a focused team with straightforward communication and clear responsibilities. Decisions are made where the relevant expertise sits, and good ideas can be discussed, tested and developed without unnecessary detours.

Working at WetterWelt
Our applications are developed through direct collaboration between meteorologists and software developers. This helps us understand the operational requirements early and implement them sensibly.
Our forecasts and applications are used wherever weather affects decisions: on sailing yachts, in commercial shipping and in weather broadcasts for German broadcaster NDR.
We work in a focused team with straightforward communication and clear areas of responsibility. Ideas can be discussed, tried out and developed together.
Depending on the role, we work from our office in Kiel or in a hybrid arrangement. What matters is reliable collaboration, clear communication and good work.
