Reliable decisions start with reliable data.

Since 1999, WetterWelt has supported people and organisations whose decisions depend on weather. Our clients include shipping companies, sailors, insurers, newsrooms, utilities and municipalities. In every case, weather is more than information: it is part of an operational decision.

Better solutions are built together.

Reliable weather services depend on dependable data, safe navigational foundations and robust interfaces. Together with our partners, we combine meteorological expertise with research, vessel performance, navigation and direct access to the people who use these services.

Albis Marine Performance

Albis Marine Performance uses V-PER to analyse a vessel’s recorded operational and performance data. METEO TRACKER receives data such as position, heading and fuel consumption from V-PER and combines it with weather and ocean-current forecasts for the voyage ahead. The systems complement each other: Albis evaluates past performance, while WetterWelt supports decisions about the next stage of the voyage.

ChartWorld

ChartWorld, now part of Teledyne Raymarine Commercial, provides the Route Network data used by METEO TRACKER to generate safe, navigable route proposals. This data accounts for vessel characteristics, draught and nautical restrictions. The integration of WetterWelt weather layers into the ChartWorld environment is currently being tested.
