Payment Methods

The following payment methods are available in the WetterWelt shop. All transactions are processed by established, PCI DSS certified payment providers. WetterWelt itself does not store any credit card details or bank account data.

PayPal

Payment via your PayPal account or PayPal guest checkout (without a PayPal account, using direct debit or credit card). Instant confirmation, buyer protection according to the PayPal terms.

Credit card

Payment by Visa, Mastercard or American Express. Processed by our payment provider PayPal with 3-D Secure authentication; a PayPal account is not required. Instant confirmation and activation.

Licence and data delivery

Digital products (software licences, GRIB data, SMS weather service) are activated by e-mail following the order confirmation.

Security

All connections to our shop are secured by TLS encryption (HTTPS). Payment and account data are transmitted to the payment providers in encrypted form only; the providers are certified according to international security standards (PCI DSS).
