GRIB is a compact data format for weather and navigation software. Access to GRIB Cruising requires a valid SEAMAN PRO licence. The data are optimised for SEAMAN PRO; selected datasets can also be displayed in compatible navigation software and on supported plotters.
The booking includes three datasets: CRUISING at 0.25° for Europe and up to 1.0° worldwide, CRUISING professional at 0.1° for Europe, and CURRENT with current data from 0.07° to 0.125°.
WetterWelt GRIB files are normally 50 to 100 kB and are updated at least twice daily. Receive them automatically by email or download the booked data directly through SEAMAN PRO.

Three datasets
CRUISING provides large-scale marine weather, CRUISING professional adds higher-resolution European data, and CURRENT provides current forecasts.

CRUISING
0.25° in Europe to 1.0° worldwide, time steps of 3 to 6 hours and 120 hours of forecast range. Extended datasets reach up to 240 hours.

CRUISING professional
0.1° for Europe, hourly time steps and a 72-hour forecast range. It includes wind, gusts, pressure, wave height and weather conditions.

CURRENT
Current data at 0.07° for the North Sea and Baltic to 0.125° worldwide, with time steps of 1 to 3 hours and a forecast range of 39 to 54 hours.

Compatibility
Optimised for SEAMAN PRO. Selected datasets can also be displayed in Expedition and MaxSea TimeZero and on supported B&G and EMS plotters.
